DISTRICT RENEWAL & AMERICAN PRODUCTION
A PEOPLE FIRST AGENDA FOR OH-11
Fighting For Working Families
My approach to policy starts with outcomes, not ideology.
I am focused on building systems that work for the people. Schools that prepare people for real life, jobs that lead to stability, housing and healthcare that provide a foundation, and local production that strengthens national capacity.
Education as Infrastructure
Education is the foundation of our workforce, economy, and national capacity.
Literacy, numeracy, and real-world reasoning aren’t optional skills, they are the baseline for economic stability and national strength. Every child deserves mastery and exposure to real economic paths. That means defending and fixing the only system designed to serve all of them: public education.
Economic Stability is National Security
Wages here and across America no longer match the cost of survival.
Millions of Americans work full time, many with advanced degrees and still can’t afford rent, groceries, or basic peace of mind. That isn’t a personal failure. It’s a national design flaw, and Congress has a responsibility to fix it.
Housing & Healthcare as Foundational Systems
Families are being priced out of stability.
Rent, medication, and basic survival costs are rising while investors sit on vacant properties and working families are pushed into cycles of instability. Housing and healthcare should be foundations, not weapons that force people out of the communities they built.
District Renewal & American Production
Ohio’s 11th District should be building the future, not watching it pass by.
We have the workforce, the industrial legacy, and the location to lead America’s next production era. Instead, federal dollars are routed to out-of-state corporations and overseas suppliers while local talent is left behind. That’s a policy choice, and it can be reversed.
WHERE I STAND
Amendment Rights
The Constitution is not abstract. These amendments shape real life from speech and safety to justice and voting rights. Here’s where I stand:
First Amendment: I believe in and fully uphold the freedoms wherein. I REJECT CHRISTIAN NATIONALISM and I stand firmly against any effort to erode the separation of church and state.
Second Amendment: We need real gun safety laws that DO NOT criminalize responsible ownership. We can protect both the community and the Constitution.
Fourth Amendment: We need stronger oversight of policing and surveillance programs that DO NOT encourage the disproportionate targeting of marginalized communities through unlawful searches.
Fifth Amendment: Everyone deserves due process, including tenants, students, and working-class people facing civil systems stacked against them.
Sixth Amendment: We need to fix the broken public defender system and ensure fairness for people who can’t afford legal help.
Tenth Amendment: I support strong local governance, but not when states use it to block civil rights or limit access to healthcare, voting, or education.
Thirteenth Amendment: The 13th Amendment’s exception clause is still being exploited. We need prison reform that DOES NOT treat Black lives like labor units.
Fourteenth Amendment: This amendment is the foundation of civil rights law. I’ll fight to protect and expand its application, especially in education and housing.
Fifteenth Amendment: We still need modern protections against voter suppression. Voting should be easy, secure, and fair for everyone.
Nineteenth Amendment: I represent the future that this amendment imagined. We now need economic, healthcare, and parental policies that reflect our power as voters and caretakers.
WHERE I STAND
Policy Positions
These are the positions I will defend, legislate from, and be held accountable to as your representative in Congress.
Foreign Aid & Military Funding: I support conditioning U.S. foreign aid on clear humanitarian and international law standards, whether Israel, Ukraine, or elsewhere. American resources should advance human rights, national security, and long-term global stability. I support an immediate ceasefire where civilian harm is ongoing and sustained diplomatic solutions that protect innocent lives and end bloodshed.
Public Education & Vouchers: Ohio’s voucher system sends billions in state education dollars to private schools, often for families who could already afford tuition while deducting critical funding from the public schools that serve the majority of our children. I oppose this redirection of taxpayer dollars and stand firmly for well-funded public schools that serve every child.
Cost of Living, Inflation & Small Business: The cost of living keeps rising, but wages and access to opportunity haven’t kept up. I support raising the federal wage floor, stabilizing inflation through smarter economic policy, and investing in small businesses as anchors of local economic survival.
Gun Safety: What we’re seeing in OH-11 is an epidemic of illegal, unregistered firearms. I support policies to track and remove illegal guns from our streets and to hold gun manufacturers accountable for trafficking loopholes.
Military Interventions: All U.S. military engagement must follow our Constitution and international law. No president should bypass the rules or jeopardize American lives without clear, lawful purpose and authorization.
Criminal Justice Reform: I support expunging nonviolent drug offenses, expanding reentry job training, and shifting incarceration dollars into proven prevention strategies. I’m still reviewing the full implications of ending cash bail but support reforms that balance fairness with community safety.
Immigration Laws: I support securing the border and enforcing immigration law with due process, transparency, and accountability. I oppose mass detention, family separation, and enforcement practices that violate human civil liberties. I will fight to reform enforcement to meet constitutional standards while modernizing the path to citizenship and aligning immigration policy with workforce and economic needs.
LGBTQ+ Rights & Civil Liberties: Personal life is personal, and government has no place in identity or religion . I support keeping both LGBTQ+ agendas and religious agendas out of our schools, banning gender surgeries for minors, and enforcing anti-discrimination protections in housing, healthcare, work, and education.
My position is grounded in civil liberties, child welfare, and the belief that schools should focus on education, not ideological enforcement of any kind.
Voting Rights & Election Integrity: I support secure access to the ballot, protections against tampering, and stronger consequences for those who try to undermine democratic outcomes.
Climate Change & Energy: I support forward‑looking environmental and energy policy that prioritizes clean air and water, expands renewable energy, and creates jobs in resilient infrastructure. Our response to climate change must protect front-line communities while strengthening our economic future.
Reproductive Rights: I support a woman’s right to choose early in pregnancy, and I believe the state has a compelling interest once a fetus is viable outside the womb, except when the mother’s life is at risk.
Maternal Mortality: Maternal mortality, especially black maternal mortality is a national crisis. I will push for targeted funding, research, and accountability measures to close the fatal gap in maternal health outcomes for women.
